More on Facebook Security

Next time you go onto Facebook have a lok at the URL address at the very top of the screen.

If you see http: instead of https: they you do not have a secure session and you can allow hackers to access your account.

To rectify select Account / Account settings / Account Security - then select the run in https box where possible and click save.

For some reason Facebook decided to set everyone as a default unsecure setting - bless.

facebook newsfeed gone too quiet?

You may have noticed recently that your newsfeed has got a little quiet. Unfortunately Facebook have introduced a new setting that means that a large chunk of your friends/fans can't see anything you post and vice versa!!

Since the addition of the "New Look Facebook" there is a newsfeed setting that by default is automatically set to show ONLY posts from people you've recently interacted with or interacted the most

TO FIX THIS:

- Scroll to the bottom of your newsfeed on the homepage

- Click on "edit options"

- Click on "show posts from"

- Change the setting to "all of your friends and pages"

Hey presto, you can now see posts from everyone again (except those you have manually blocked)
....with thanks to Jane for the tip :o)
